Edward D. Doherty Director Edward D. Doherty was elected as a director of our general partner in February 2005, and serves as a member of the audit committee of the board of directors of our general partner. Mr. Doherty has served as a director of the general partner of Hiland Holdings GP, LP since September 2006, and serves as a member of the audit committee of the board of directors of Hiland Holdings GP, LP's general partner. Since March 2006, Mr. Doherty has been a partial owner and CEO of ANZ Terminals Pty. Ltd., an Australian company which owns and operates eight liquid storage terminals in Australia and New Zealand. Mr. Doherty also provides consulting services on terminal acquisitions. Mr. Doherty served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kaneb Pipe Line Company LLC, the general partner of Kaneb Pipe Line Partners L.P. since its inception in September 1989 until July 2005. Prior to joining Kaneb, Mr. Doherty was President and Chief Executive Officer of two private companies, which provided restructuring services to troubled companies and was President and Chief Executive Officer of Commonwealth Oil Refining Company, Inc., a public refining and petrochemical company. Mr. Doherty holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lafayette College and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Columbia University School of Law.
